Curling Hair.. Help me-Please with sugar on top?

I'm getting fish hooks in my hair when using a curling iron but all the hair is in the clamp. Whats Should I DO?

wash your hair before you do it so its clean then add some texture so it has something to weigh the curl down, so it stays. something like tigi curl enhancers or hairspray if nothing like that you own.. then curl and hold the barrel upwards so its a staight down curl....

Well there are a couple reasons why your hair is looking that way. You probably need to add some hair spray to your hair before u curl, or you need to hold your curling iron longer on the strands, or you need a hotter curling iron. Hope I helped! ( :
