I have naturally curly hair, but I straighten it. As soon as I step outside it starts to get curly! And I don't mean frizzy, what do I do?!!

  1. Maybe you are not using a professional type of hair straightner.

Mine is a Remington Wet 2 Straight

and I bought it at the Ulta store.

Before I got this straightner the one I would use would not leave my hair frizzy and it would curl again not to the same natural curl but it would give it volume and wave. Now that I use this one I notice that weather wet or dry in two passes of the iron it will leave it dry and stright the reason to that is because the straightner has holes on it that you can see that will get rid of the excess moisture that makes your hair curly and leave the right amount of hydration to not make it look dry or not smell burn.

you hair smells fresh and you can go out on a rainy day and your hair will not suffer once you hit the shower you will notice that it takes longer to go back to your natural curly after being wet.

I recomend you to check your straightner and check the one I have out.

I love it and I can have my hair straight all the time and my hair will not get as damaged as before. GOOD LUCK!

  2. Oh my goodness....i had the same problem and its soooo annoying spending forever getting it perfectly straight and then step outside and look like you didnt do a thing to it. what really works for me is the john freida frizz-ease collection called weather works....it sheilds the moisture away from your hair and leaves it how it was before you stepped out the door. i reccommend the serum. i also got a new flat iron (solia)...my hair never un-does itself anymore and i walked in the rain for 20 min and it barely curled.....hope i helped =]
