i have naturally thick curly hair a bit longer than shoulder length.

if I take a shower in the morning, and put some gel in it and let it air dry it turns out great.

but now that school is starting I want to take showers at night.

what are some ways to keep my curly hair from flattening when i sleep?

heres a picture of my hair...

  1. just take showers in the morning it will be a lot easier

  2. Take your shower early enough that you're not going to bed on wet hair; style it as normal when you get out of the shower.  Sleeping with a silk pillowcase will help to reduce frizz.  I would recommend buying a spray gel (Redken Fresh Curls Curl Boost is great) to give those curls a kickstart in the morning.  After spryaing the gel in, scrunch your hair with your head upside down.  Good luck!

  3. if you take a shower before you sleep...it will work, but your hair wont be straitened if you sleep cuz ur hair is naturally curly.

  4. maybe you could tye it up in a high pony and put it in a shower cap?

  5. You may want to try damping it a little and then putting  leave in conditioner like healthy s**y hair soy, and then your gel, it works for me, though I have thin short very curly hair and I use mousse instead.
