Curly hair to straight?

Question

I have really curly hair exactly like http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t28/fabochica/curly-hair-cut-11.jpg and occasionally I'll straighten it. I haven't straightened it all summer because before it messed up my hair by drying it out. My hair is great now because I've been using a special shampoo for curly hair. Sometimes I just get bored with my hair and I want to try a new style. Since my hair is going so well I'm scared to straighten it in fear of messing it up but I want a quick change of style. Any suggestions?

well from experience, I have Very curly hair and the best thing to use when flat ironing have is to use bio-silk hair serum its sooo expensive but it works (:

I think hair like that is gorgeous. Anyway try using serum in your hair after youve washed it and before you go to bed, and before using heat use heat protective spray. Theres this really good nightime spray that repairs your hair or stops it from getting damaged sort of like a hair mask but it dries in a few minutes after applying it to hair, some brands do this spray like pantene.

Check the back of your shampoo to see if straightening it will damage you hair.

when straightening your hair and its curly wet your hair then straighten. Also if your worried about it get notted get a leave in conditioner and put in on the problem areas

go to a professional hair styler to straighten your hair they will know what to do. when u straighten your hair your self you don't have the products to treat the dryness

I doubt your hair looks like that girl's hair because it is not naturally like that, she curled it. But my hair is bi racial hair, like Leona Lewis and it is unbearable! I have to straighten it, but it takes a lot for my hair to become dry. But I started to do hot oil treatments and such and it has helped a bit. But I hope I helped.

well iron ur hair and buy hair products that will help ur hair.

theres one called frizz free hair and the bottle is clear and the top is purple it helps alott because it has minerals its really good and u apply it wile ur hairs ironed u dont even  gotta take it off

u can also tryy deep conditioning

soo basicvally just goo 2 a hair store and buy productlss liek crazy pluss just do anything u want with ur hair now cuz wen ur liek 60 u wont be able to so just do it crazy  noww!
