Curly willow vine?

i have planted a willow vine from a bouquet i had but i don't know how to care for it. please help

  1. Did the cutting have roots? If not, it may not take, but if it does, you should be all right, as long as it is planted in the ground. Willows are vigorous growers and are generally not very fussy. Just water it daily, especially if you are in a hot area, and keep the area around the forming shrub mulched and weeded. Over time, you will have a nice, big shrub. Good luck.


  2. Hello, I have never heard of a Willow vine. But after a quick search this is what I found. Considering yours is curly, it may have started from a clipping off an cork s***w willow tree. They come in your choice of red bark or yellow.

    Did you know that willow can be rooted in a vase or jar when you change out the water and rinse off any slime that it may build up every few days. Willow contains a self rooting hormone. In fact I have started willows just from putting them in some good moisture control potting soil.  After keeping the start damp, but not soaking wet for a few days, roots will develop and your plant will take off.
