Curramore Tara, a bright prospect for the Fundraising Night A2 525
In pursuit of the €350 prize money are six highly talented hounds who will take up the 525 yards challenge in the form of the Grade A2 Fundraising Night A2 525 on Wednesday, 3rd October, 2012 at Shelbourne Park. Not all of them have been racing
at the same level, and neither is it that they have been impressively successful lately.
Making the line-up for the event are Bottler, Swift Sherry, Ballymac Whitney, Curramore Tara, Raughlan Blaze and Gizmo Smiling.
The most proficient and experienced with racing at Grade A2 is the two-year-old black b***h, Curramore Tara. Her four career outings are evenly divided in Grade A3 and Grade A2 races. Two out of those starts have been translated into success, one at each
different level.
After a fourth position in the career debut on 24th August, 2012 over 525 yards, the Dunne trained bagged the prize money of the race that came in right after that.
Kinloch Brae’s daughter won a 525 yards challenge on 31st August. Breaking from the third stall, being swift in racing at a safe distance from the rest of the lot, and not compromising on the lead that she had monopolised early on had her timing
the track distance in 29.00 seconds.
Wining by the margin of 6 ½ lengths meant that Tintreach Tully had to make peace with the second position.
The third career outing had her missing the race to a sixth position and by 7 ½ lengths. Her slow pace did not aid the trip that was won by, Tubbertelly Earl, in 29.08 seconds.
Making all the possible effort for bouncing back into form once again, she concluded the 525 yards trip on 14th September, 2012 in 28.82 seconds. Her signature style of landing a race was prevalent in this outing too.
Quick to race away, and then determined to lead for the remaining distance got the race under her belt.
Winning by the phenomenal margin of 8 ½ lengths had, Fitzler Mario, finishing just next to the best.
Her trap for tonight is fourth, and it is a number out of which she has never raced before.
