Currency exchange through debit cards?

I have an account in Euros and use my VISA at ATMs to get dollars.

How is the exchange rate calculated? Is it weekly, daily, hourly, by the minute? Does Visa charge me any extra commission on this on top of what i pay for the card?

Exchange will be calculated daily average, usually there exchange rate 10% worth then in a bank for there protection. And they will charge currency exchange transaction fee. You should bring your cash and just exchange in a bank, or you pay money for convinience. Good Luck!
