ok i had this ring that was from 1959 and it was $500 then, so i need to find out how much it is worth now. plz help

knowing what it cost in 1959 is interesting. the change in value may not be linked completely to the rate of inflation. in fact the condition and style of the ring will probably impact the value today more.

in any case the inflation value of $500 in 1959 to 2008 dollars would be a value of $3,587. i would recommend having it appraised by one or two reputable jewelers.
