  1. Assuming a magnetic wind - Runway 01 would be preferable.

Runway numbers work on the first two digits of the magnetic direction - so Runway 01 is facing 010 (10) degrees...while Runway 10 is actually 100 degrees.

Definitely Runway 01 for landing preferred.

You'll always want to land into a head wind if you can!

I'm not being rude, but people who say Runway 25 have got confused between wind direction and speed. The speed is irrelevant - you want to pick the most into wind runway. Speed is only relevant if you want to work out the crosswind.

  2. 25.(19 would be ideal. There is no 100)

  3. Runway 01. Pretty much a head wind all the way (thats presuming your wind bearing is for a magnetic heading)

reason I say 'pretty much' is because any one that flys knows that wind harly ever stays dead straight on a heading for long periods of time

  4. Runway 01 would have the wind blowing right down it, so it would be the preferred runway.

    Dan

  5. Runway 01.  Same as 10'.

  6. 01. The runway names are named according to their heading. 10 is actually 100 degrees, 250 is 250 degrees, 01 is 10 degrees. So the best runway would be 01 because its parallel with the wind
