Ok so I need a current issue not highly publicized that you think needs to be brought to the worlds attention.

And please add Website if you know any.

P.s If it is too based in America it makes it difficult to use as a topic because i Live in New Zealand.

  1. Maa Nulth First nations get 26000 hectares as part of a treaty settlement.

    No issue there. The issue is that the lands include all of the publically owned access points to Barkely Sound and Kyuquot Sound.

    So people who access the sea for recreation or commercial reasons will likely wind up paying a fee in the future.

    The lands are supposed to provide the First Nations with an economic base. The lands are in and of themselves commercially useless except for limited resource extraction. When the treaty money runs out the First Nations will be forced to develop the land as recreation property - condos and cottages - where there are now pristine beaches and forests.

    Might resonate with some of your Maori issues.
