Currently Available Sets in Magic Online?

This question is for players of Magic: The Gathering Online (just thought I'd let you know); I play Magic: The Gathering as one of my main hobbies, but I know nobody who I can play against anytime I'd like. I've decided to download and play Magic Online, and I was wondering if these are the currently available sets:

-Fifth Dawn

-Kamigawa Block

-Ninth Edition

-Ravnica Block

-Coldsnap

-Time Spiral Block

-Tenth Edition

-Lorwyn Mini-block

-Shadowmoor

These are some of my favourite sets (particularly Ravnica onwards), and I heard that sets are available for up to four years after first release in the MTGO Store (hence the availability of Fifth Dawn) which is why I ask this question. Have a fantastic day to those who read this!

  1. To give you fair warning, you probably don’t want to get into Magic online right now. The server is very very bad, and the program itself crashes alarmingly often for no reason whatsoever. Take it from someone that has already learned the lesson the hard way.

If you are determined to play Magic online, play it on MagicWorkStation instead. It’s better, there are pros hanging around there occasionally, and best of all, it’s free.

If you are STILL determined to play Magic online, be warned that not every block is released on there. Some of the older blocks are missing, and there are problems with certain cards on there, such as Panglacial wurm. My advice to you is to not play it. Consider the alternatives, such as Magic Workstation, Apprentice, LackeyCCG, etc.

There is also a sizable delay between the prerelease of the paper cards and the release of the cards online, probably a company policy to appease Paper Magic’s retailers. Again, take it from me. Don’t try it.

If you are still reading at this point, then I must give up and watch you being sucked into the ever-expanding black hole of misery and frustration that has come to be known as MTGOIII.  Every set up from invasion is available, with the exception of Unhinged. The Mirage block is also available, and the cream of the crop from sets before that were selected and released as a “Masters Edition.” But, for the final time, be warned. Only certain death awaits down the path of MTGO. Abandon all hope, all who enter here.
