Currently i am nz, on open work permit ?

hi, i am in nz on open work permit and i have completed my studies in november in the field of horticulture [national cert of hort] and now i m working in my field job , i have to work in my field for 2 years thats the requirement for getting PERMANENT residence here. i dont know weather they accept the experience on companys work permit or they gonna consider my work experiece if am on still open work permit. please tel me how immigration counts work experience?
