  1. wait a bit

curry sauce is never too hot

  2. Lager

  3. add tomato ketchup a chef told me that one

  4. you can buy   not hot ones

  5. Perhaps a little single fresh cream if you have some.

  6. I would use either coconut milk or yogurt for a more complementing flavor.  If you don't have that, go for cream or milk.

  7. mint riata is yummy although it is sort of yogurt

take some yog, add some lemon juice, mint sauce, and a wee bit of salt, mix, eat with your curry.

you can substitute the mint with chopped cucumber or onion or a mixture of these.

also drinking water DOESN'T help. tea does.

    enjoy your curry. xx

  8. Add peeled raw potato, cut fairly large (as you will need to be able to find them in the sauce). Simmer for a good 10 minutes and fishthem out. They will absorb a lot of the fire.

  9. Chopped tomatoes.

  10. may seem weird and such but;;

    ketchup.

just dont use to much or it will taste horrible.

  11. Some times I use a small tin of chopped tomatos, coconut milk works as well.

  12. coconut milk is what i usd in my curry last week.  it was delicious!!!

  13. add cream

  14. Potato

  15. try coconut milk.  there are also several different kinds of curries.  try to google recipes for curry that are of the less hot persuasion.

  16. You can either increase you ingredients or eat it with other dishes to balance off the spiciness. Yogurt and sugar will usually do the trick though.

  17. add some milk

  18. Don't use so many spices next time.

  19. mix a little vinegar, lemon juice or tomato puree, it will take heat off the curry

  20. Take out half the sauce and freeze for the next batch. Into the remaining hot curry sauce, add 1 cup water with 1 tbsp corn starch diluted in it. Stir.

If the sauce is with the meat, try adding cubed or grated potatoes.

  21. Well you could add some/more veg and water it will make it thinner, and maybe some lemon juice.

  22. coconut milk or cream

  23. coconut, mango slices, banana slices, sweet pickles, yoghurt

  24. Adding cream to Indian dishes is perhaps the most sinful way of enhancing curry in taste and texture; it kills the dish! Unless the recipe calls for "coconut milk", it would alter the authenticity of the dish if it's added (same with yogurt/sour milk). To reduce the spiciness the only way is to half the required amount of curry powder, or choose a curry mix for "korma" which is milder. I wouldn't want to eat any Indian curry dish watered down with any cream, yogurt, coconut milk or sugar.

  25. blow on it

  26. stir in plain yogurt

  27. try some cream, it always works or perhaps some coconut milk. hope dis helps!

  28. really there is no way to "cool" curry down it's an Oriental spice.

  29. Coconut milk  or fresh cream goes well :)

  30. I use ordinary milk but evaporated milk will do just as well.
