The latest Batman movie has seen 3 tragedies already, Heath Ledgers death, a special effects technician's death from a crash into a tree and now Morgan Freemans car accident in America (he is critical). The media are calling it a curse. There has also been the curse of the Omen film too,, are they really curses? are they just coincidences?...

  1. I think it's coincidence, which can be "helped along" if enough people believe in the curse. Sort of a self-fulfilling prophecy.

  2. You should look into the Poltergeist movies. I think it is a coincidence.

  3. Basically, **** happens. Maybe life is a curse

  4. These are co-incidences and not curses.

Heath died under tragic circumstances but it was due to personal action. The crash of the special effects technician could be due to a number of factors as could the unfortunate accident involving Morgan Freeman.

Yes it's unusual for 2 deaths to happen within a seemingly small circle of people but to label it as a curse is wreckless to say the least.

Lets hope that Morgan Freeman recovers from his accident.

Heath Ledgers death was of particular sadness as I was a fan.

  5. i think its a curse just like James Bond films are.

i mean in the latest James Bond film :

1.a stuntman crashed the car into the water

    2.another stuntman(?) lost his hand

3.Daniel Craig hurt himself during filming i cant remember how.

4.and i think a helicopter crashedd into the set too.

  6. I think it's all just a big coincidence. The media seems to always blow things out of proportion.

  7. I believe in both, i think there are coincidences but then there curses. For batman, it must be a curse in high glory- obviously something can't start out that good and end good too. I think that it was cursed to balance out the overweighing good of the movie production. Yet, I could be going far with that- maybe it is a coincidences that just added up and since it was such a great movie people noticed the little things than other past movie predictatments. Hmm in my opinion i'm going with a little of both let's call it a curse of coincidences.

  8. I'm not sure whether or not is is either a coincidence or a curse,  at this moment in time I would have to say Coinidence, (lets just see if any-more acidents happen with other stars or background staff, anyone to do with the film), before you can fully call it a curse.

The way I see it, every  things happen for a reason,

(maybe Film so C**p, Rubbish, that things were bound to happen as a protest of being so C**p, or, rubbish). Also, just how many more different types of batman films can they make, oh - so boring, " oh no not another boring Batman film, I know, lets make things happen ",  say's the Film gremlins...

As for the film,  The Omen, (The Orignal),  I know all about that, (I saw a programme all about that film), That perticular film was dogged by mis-fortunes, there was so many mis-fortunes, that it nearly didn't even make the box office.  Just far-far too many mis-fortunes too list, (including a plane crash which involved important people,  people of the producing staff, of that film)...
