Cursive handwriting program?

I was just wondering if there was a program or method of converting regular print to cursive handwriting? Or at the very least, a cursive handwriting program that could help my little bro? Any help would be great!

  1. D'Nealian is the way to go. It's much easier for kids to go from print to cursive. Maybe the teacher has a workbook your bro can use, or you should be able to get one from a teachers' store.

    Here's a sample -

There are worksheets here - on PDF -

On this site, there are the lined sheets you can print out, and samples of worksheets for the cursive - right side. You only have to be a member to print the whole book, you don't have to join to use pages.

Good luck - with these (and the amazing internet) you won't have to spend any money, except on ink and paper!

  2. Cursive handwriting actually HELPS dyslexics with their writing.  There is less chance of their transposing letters or reversing b/d or p/q, etc. Most dyslexic programs in the public schools teach cursive, no matter the age of the dyslexic.  D'Nealian is the best as a bridge between manuscript and cursive. Any teacher supply store or office supply center should have handwriting books available for purchase or you can check the following websites:
