Curtis Mathes TV

Question

It started with the TV being clear when turned on in the morning but then it would become fuzzy by the evening. Then the TV started to be fuzzy in the morning and become clear by the evening. Now the TV is fuzzy first thing in the morning. After the set has been on about 15 minutes the picture will be lost completely with nothing but static. The TV is actually a console model. The cabinet also contains a record player, radio and 8 track tape player. It was purchased in the middle 70s. I called a local repair shop and they told me the set could not be fixed because there were no parts available. Can you help me?
