Curzon Line in lead of the Read Hayley At RacingUK.Com Every Friday Handicap at Kempton
The Class 4 Read Hayley At RacingUK.Com Every Friday Handicap (London Mile Qualifier) will be held at Kempton over a mile on Wednesday, 6th June. It has brought together quite a talented and exceptional line-up with £4,075 prize money at stake.
Two entries for the race who have won at Kempton are Curzon Line and Oblitereight.
Curzon Line, Dubawi’s three-year-old bay colt out of mare, Polska, could not have had a better start for the new season with a second score in the seasonal debut and a win in the very next one.
His first try of the season was in the Wolverhampton-Racecourse.Co.UK Maiden Stakes (Division II) on 4th May at Wolverhampton over seven furlongs. He finished closest to the 6/4 favourite winner of the race, Sholaan, who led by two and a half
lengths.
Concluding the race third in line behind the winner was Mizwaaj.
Curzon Line did not take very long to put his actual potential on display as he won the Kempton For Outdoor Events Handicap on 15th May over a mile.
With Mickael Barzalona onboard, he kept Basseterre at bay by a mere short head’s difference. The two were soon joined in by Dynamic Duo.
The 4/1 favourite of the race, Main Line, ended fourth on the field of eleven.
He has raced at Kempton before but during the previous season. He was part of the line-up for the Betdaq Mobile Apps Nursery over a mile. The race was won by the 100/30 favourite, Venetian View.
Finishing the closest to the winner was Jack Of Diamonds.
Curzon Line ended fifth on the track of nine contestants.
Pairing up wins by winning through the third outing of the season has to be the plan for the Mahmood Al Zarooni trained.
He will need to look out for Oblitereight who won the Skysports.Com Racing Classified Stakes on 9th May at Kempton over seven furlongs.
He cornered the 3/1 favourite of the race, Mayo Lad, into the runner up’s position by four and a half lengths.
Dominating his seasonal debut depicts his ability to grab the next chance too only if he is successful in intimidating Curzon Line.
