  1. I was told no. Your case will remain in the courts in which it was ruled.

  2. Sorry but you need to give some more detail....Do you have an open case going in the former county you were living in?

Has everything been resolved from a prior case and your wanting to file something new?

If you do not have a signed order from the judge (whether a settlement that the two of you made or an actual order from the judge) then your case is considered open and NO you can not transfer this to a different county until it is resolved.

The case has to stand in the county it was filed in until closed.  Child cases are to abe filed in the county that the child resides though but that will not have an affect on the existing case.

Hope I was helpful and good luck

  3. definately...as long as u let the courts know the change of address u can move where ever the h**l u want 2 move....

  4. Once the child has changed residency, the jurisdiction usually changes to the child's new county of residency. However, in my cousin's son case, the mother had to get permission of the court to move the child to a new county before she should change the court jurisdiction.
