  1. what kind are you talking about?

  2. yes you dont need to have a job... and if you are in skoolthats showing you have responsibilities.  as long as the other children are not in any danger and never have been, I dont see why not

  3. You have to be able to show that it is in the best interests of the child. That is of utmost importance to a court.

You have enough money to care for your children, but do you have enough to care for a third child in your household?

What other responsibilities do you have (studies etc)?

What is the reason that you want custody, and is there a better alternative for the child?

Ask yourself these questions and have good answers, as this is what the court will consider in making a decision.

  4. if you are the biological parent and have a support system, possibly, but if you aren't a biological parent or legal guardian then I don't see that happening unless you have a really good lawyer that can convince the judge that you are in the child's best interest

  5. I gained custody of my nephew when i was 20 ( he was 5) but i did have to change jobs (i worked on shift)  you might need to make changes like getting an income but thats something the courts would decide i guess xx

  6. I hope not.  If you have no income, how can you provide food, clothing and shelter for another child?
