Question:

Customer Complaints?

I had a customer complain to a co worker of mine that her drink was too cold. I thought that she should've just made a new drink, but she popped it into the microwave. Seriously... was she right or wrong?

  1. No, that doesn't sound like good customer service.

If it was supposed to be hot, there must have been something wrong that caused it to be cold when given to the customer, I would think????

I'm thinking she should have made a new drink for them because the thought from the customer is that maybe it was old or something.

  2. Technically they should have made a new drink.

  3. make a new drink.

  4. most hot drinks lose a bit of their great flavor when they are not fresh- particularly espresso- I always notice the difference of a mediocre barrista and a great one and all I usually drink are americanos- i think microwaving it (unless the customer requested her to) was terrible customer service- and if the customer knew she was doing that- showed them that they weren't valued enough to give them exactly what they paid for

  5. Was it a hot drink or a cold drink?  If it was a  hot drink, then she should have given the customer a new hot drink.

  6. it depends on the customer. if the customer was fine with that, then it would have been okay. I personally wouldn't have minded if the person put my drink in the microwave if it was too cold.
