Customisable music widget?

Hi, was wondering if anyone knows of a widget that can be embedded on a website/blog, that allows you to pick specific tracks to be played?

I know of a few that create a playlist recommendation based on your likes, and widgets that require you to host your own song urls (which violates copyright laws. I need this for a website I'm setting up, and I dont want any copyright issues...)

I have found a site, songza, that allows you to embed individual songs, which would be sufficient, however, the application seems to be a bit disfunctional. Simply doesn't play.

Does anyone know of a site that has a searchable database that can be applied to a widget and embedded onto a site without too many copyright issues?

i used the wix.com service to create a music widget for free, and i simply connected it to my playlist.com music account for the specific songs i wanted to play in it.

you should try to do the same.

Try last.fm, if displaying a song in such widgets is an issue you probably should tag your music right first, for that use free internet database taggers, like freeware ones from musicbrainz.org

Back to the point, you may create your playlist there and embed it on your blog/site.
