Customize Your Old T-Shirts?

I want to have a really creative tee for the Batman opening, so I bought a super large guys Joker shirt with the idea that I could personalize it through sewing. Except the book I wanted at the library to help me with this was out. Anybody have any good websites that have the same sorta thing? The book was Generation T.

There is another book that is awesome for customizing t-shirts:  T-Shirt Makeovers by Carmia Marshall and Carmen Webber.  If you can't find it at the library, try the bookstore.  You don't have to buy it to look at it and you may get some great ideas.  Bring a notepad with you, so you can make a quick sketch of what you like.
