Customizing Jeep Wrangler 2007

Question

I recently bought a Jeep Wrangler Sahara 2007. I am looking to customize it a little bit, I was wondering if anyone know how much money it would cost to..

• Get some 35" Wheels and some nice rims

• Get a custom paint job that includes the front bumper

• Get a 4" super lift

If you also have any ideas feel free to throw them out there. Thanks!

I have heard that the 07 and 08's have problems with their computers when changing tires and stuff (a guy said he worked in a dealership i was eating with at japanese rest). Make sure to find out before you start the work. Call quadratec and ask them ( quadratec.com ).

I dont know all that much about the 07 and 08's. I have "heard" that the stock suspension will handle 33's, so if that is high enough..... but if you want something that stands out go with 35's. Also you may need to get gears with 35's 2wd probably cost 400 installed and 4wd probably 1600 or so installed. Bigger tires kill hp.

Get aftermarket bumpers, mine have the hitch on it (get towing rated one), and dont paint them order the ones that will look good.

Oh and go ahead and get an alignment cam.. they are cheap

You can put 33 inch on the 07 with no lift if you have the correct offset on your wheels.You will have to change the gears if you go with 35's and may want to change them with the 33's.I'm guessing that a custom paint gob alone will be $5000 and the lift,tires,wheels and gears change will add another $5000.

Go to 4wd.com and request a catalog. There free, and have many options,  plus lots of pics of other rigs. It will start to give you ideas, and price ranges. Don't rush, you've got a lot of spending/time on your hands.

I got my 35" Pro Comp XMT's for about 210 each, and I got 5 Ultra Sport Rouge wheels for $127 each. Many choices on lifts.
