I've seen a custom job on a Tippmann Pro/Carbine in which it had a 98C response trigger on it. If you have done it or know how, could you let me know what steps I need to take to do it?

  1. The Response Trigger operates on excess blowback gas that would normally be wasted from re-cockin.g the the gun.

You could drill and tap into the powertube just infront of where the hammer rests when sealed in the powertube.  That way, the same gas that shoots the hammer back also operates the RT piston that is placed behind the trigger.  The RT piston pushes the trigger forward and resets the sear.

    Basically:

Mill out behind the trigger in the grip for the RT Piston.

Drill for the hoses and air adjustment valve above the trigger frame.

Drill and tap into the powertube just in front of the hammer when in resting position inside the powertube.

Run your airlines and tune the RT.
