I just recently preordered a book from Amazon.co.uk to Canada (the books comes out two months later in Canada). It states on their website that items may be subject to customs fees when entering another country. I've done some looking around, and I'm wondering if the book (it was 12 Euro; roughly 18 CAD) will be subject to customs fees.

  1. I don't believe books are dutiable, although you will be assessed GST on the purchase, as well as fees charged by whoever handles the paperwork (i.e. Canada Post)
