  1. During the busy season (Winter is the highest season here) the airport is to say the least, total chaos. Airlines and travel agents recommend youget to the airport at least two hours prior to departure time. I would recommend to add at least another hour, as Aeromexico operates a ton of flights in high season.

The security check-in is adding a bunch of time to departures, as luggage will be searched etc before it and you reach the plane, so plan accordingly. Make sure you have all of yoru travel documents at hand at all times for check-in and security so you don't get held up.

Now your heading up top says Customs Mexico. You don't have to go through Customs on the way out, just coming in. There is a security check though.Just make sure you have your Mexican Immigration Visa (the white stub you were given upon entering) to give back to the airlines at check in.

  2. I was in Cancun last March....coming home to Las Vegas was a total nightmare. To be safe, you should be at the airport about 4 hrs before your flight is scheduled to leave.

  3. like 8:25 i think

  4. If your first leg is to Mexico City an hour is more than enough time

  5. according to the new international laws on airplane travels, you must be there 2 hours before the departure on international flights, and at least 1 hours on domestic flights; so, since you are going from Cancún to México (domestic flight), you must be there before 11:25 am; AT LEAST (earlier is better!).

    Oh!, I'm mexican.
