Cut-and-Paste in Mac OS X Tiger

Hi!

How do i get the cut and paste option in the Finder in Mac OS X Tiger? Any 3rd party softwares? Free and paid both. Please let me know. Thanks.

  1. Command X is cut, but if you mean to cut actual files or folders in Finder, this is not a feature that Mac OS X uses.  This is a windows feature.  To move files and folders, all you can do is drag and drop.   I refer you to this forum for more information

  2. Cut and paste is built in. Command C to copy, and Command V to paste or you can go to the edit menu and select it that way.

    The command key is the endless loop one next to the spacebar on both sides.

    Command X is the cut key.
