Cute, but original, names?

Question

I am pregnant with a little girl due in October. I want to name her something unique.

I dont want it to be really out there so she gets picked on, or its hard to pronounce or something, i just want a name that when shes at school 5 other children in her class won't have the same name.

Me and my boyfriend have common names (Nikki and Danny) and its really annoying.

So any original but cute names just suggest them :)

Oh and just to add I like the name Jaeliah (pronounced Jay-Leah) but i think it could be hard to pronounce so i dont know.

Try looking through names from beautiful countries like China, or India. I like the name Nastia, or Jaden. Or how about a spanish name such as Marisol. My friends name is cute and unique, Raylean (or you could spell it Raylynn. Also, jewel and gem stone names are prety and unique, I have a friend named Diamond, and one named Amber. And i know of people named Sapphire, Crystal. There are endless possibilities. Also Angel, Tracie, Sabrina, Melody, Star, and Meredith are cute and unique names.

The important thing is that the name fits the child and the name fits the middle and sur names as well.

Keys to pronunciation are to keep the # of syllables different (3 4 4 for example, or 4 4 7, instead of 4 4 4 etc.).  Rhyming names are horrid in class, and originality is key as well.

11 years ago I named my daughter Devyn Nichol.

I too wanted unique but simple and adorable.  Her name fits her to a T now.

Naming your kid some fancy name won't make it "unique" or "special" in anyway shape or form- what with the epidemic of people in this fad of naming their kids "Bruno Versace Dolphin Sahara Mantle III" (exageration but you see the frustration lol) then its not going to be original in the slightest- its common and tacky.

I honesty, when I have kids- couldn't imagine calling "Apple, Tiaamii, Brooklyn - Dinners ready!".

This is my favorite!!! I absolutely LOVE the name Ily (Eye-Lee) if you spell it Eilee it is easy to pronounce but I like it spelled I L Y just because of the simple fact is means I LOVE YOU (ILY). That is very original.  I also like Isabella, which is not common these days, another one I really like is Sarahlynne.  I named my daughter Juliana, and alot of people like it because it is not common at all, and it is esy to pronounce.
