Cute Gifts Ideas for my...?

My sister is pregnant, shes about 7 months. I will be a having a little neice Hailey. What are some cute gift ideas that I could do? I wanna get her something that she can keep forever and it be idk like a special thing between us.

BTW...Im a first time Aunt!

My sister did my handprint in mold and then when the baby was born, the baby's handprint was on the side of mine with the birthdate.

I also received small round children's hampers with diapers on the side, then inside that was bibs, cloths, bottles more diapers.. cute idea and some talented people can do things like that.

or how about a scrap book like the first person mentioned?   you can take old photos of your sis and of you and baby can be in the middle.

SO many ideas... you do a search on line too for "gift ideas for baby".

I bought for my daughter and my first niece a personalized book (born around the same time) My brother and sister in law loved it and found it so original! The books actually spell out their names and include their date of birth. You can also write a small dedication to them. They have "My very own name" or "My very own fairy tale". I think photos are great...and they will always be around and cherished forever.  Get a newborn photographer.  Search the net...there are some amazing photographers out there.  Normally a new mom is too exhausted to organize these things.  A newborn photographer comes around when mom is pregnant and after the baby is born. (before the baby is 2 weeks old (because baby sleeps a lot until then)..to capture all those perfect newborn moments)  You could even have some pics taken together.  I done this for my brother and his wife and they have the most amazing pics ever in there home now. Why don't you make her a scrap book that she can keep all the cards and baby shower invitations in. That way later when she is older she can look back and see all the people that were excited about her arrival!
