  1. TBH  im not sure what a baby shower is but if its kinda like a party for a baby then u could decide on a theme such as teddy bears, or cars and make every thing blue and cute but not reli sure wish i could help more

  2. make a batch of punch in a baby bath tub- float a rubber duckie in it- looks real cute on the table plus it's an extra gift for mommy.

a fruit display looks nice also- take cut up fruits and put them on wooden skewers and arrange them into a half mellon husk or a half of a foam ball decorated with lettuce leaves or something.

you can make a baby tree of wisdom- get dead tree branches and place into a vase- then make cut outs of some type of baby item like a bottle or teddy bear or something (use blue paper for boy) then hang them all from the tree using twist ties or pieces of pipe cleaners- then all the guests write down words of wisdom for the mommy to be on each cut out. mommy can then take them all home with her for a memory of her fun shower!

guess mommies tummy size is a fun one- pass around a ball of yarn or string or ribbon and a pair of scissors, each guest will cut a piece of string to try and guess how big her tummy is around, then mom will walk around and measure up to every ones strings- closest to the right size gets a prize.

baby bingo- make a blank bingo sheet, before the party starts have everyone write down a baby item in each square then have them set their bingo sheet aside until later. (don't tell them why!) then when mom starts to open her gifts tell them to pull out their sheets and while mom opens gifts if she opens something that is on someones list they can check it off- first couple people to call "Baby Bingo!" wins a prize!

name that baby game- make a list of animals and find out what they call their babies ex: Horse=foal  Kangaroo=Joey etc. make a list of the animals adn a blank line for everyone to guess what the baby is called.

  3. My favorite, if you are talented in the kitchen, is the baby carrage watermelon. You need a nice sized watermelon and some other fruit to make fruit salad. Go to the link below and watch that video, then there are 2 more videos about the same centerpeice (How to carve, cut and fill) I love love love this!!! I hope I helped you and I hope you will make the Baby stroller fruit centerpeice!

  4. some games you can play is baby's diaper you get the amount of your guests diapers and fill one up with mustard which looks like a baby's accident and who ever get the mustard one wins a candle or something small another game is pins every one gets 5 safety pins and if you see someone cross there legs you go and steal one pin and who every has the most at the end wins a small gift!a cute cake could be a diaper cake.

  5. GAMES: Have everyone bring a baby picture of themself, and put a number on the back.  Display them and guests have to guess who is which baby  ....  A tray with 20 baby-related items is shown to the guests for about 1 min.  Then they have to list all the items they remember

** You can make a Diaper Cake, by rolling disposable diapers into large circular shapes (tying around the bundle with a blue ribbon).  Stack 2 or 3 different sized "layers" on top of each other and decorate with rattles, diaper pins.  Makes a cute centerpiece

**  My mom always made sandwich loaves for showers.  Get unsliced loaves of bread (your bakery may even do them in blue for you); slice in 3 layers horizontally.  Fill with chicken, egg or ham salad and restack.  "Frost" the outside with softened cream cheese, beaten with herbs;  sprinkle parsley on top.  Refrigerate.  To serve, slice down the loaf.......  But, a deli platter of wrap or croissant sandwiches is good too:)  Veggie/dip and fruit platters....

**  You can buy cupcake tree stands at a craft store (I saw them at Kroger too) and make blue & white cupcakes with plastic rattles, bottles in blue on top.  ... Or have your local grocery bakery make a cupcake cake in a baby boy theme
