  1. Dante and Luigi's - a romantic Italian restaurant

    762 South 10 Street

    Philadelphia

    215-922-9501

Jackie - My husband proposed to me at the Rose Tattoo!!  Great choice!! :)

  2. Well I Love This place its quite and private check it out

    Mad River Bar & Grille

    (215) 923-5553

126 Chestnut St, Philadelphia, PA 19106

  3. Friday, Saturday, Sunday is fun and romantic.

  4. There's this place called The Spaghetti Warehouse around Spring Garden, and they have a unique atmosphere. I don't know if it's really romantic, but prices are reasonable, and it's a step or two above Red Lobster. They serve Italian, of course.

Ruth's Chris Steakhouse around the Hard Rock Cafe is definitely a good place, but it can be pricy. It's a fancy place, but  it's not s****.. I got treated like a business-man would, and I walked in there looking like a rockstar. They serve steaks, soups, salads, bread, chicken. It's just an all around classy American restaurant. The desserts are the best I've ever had. For my girlfriend and I, it costs around $80, but it depends what you order. Everything there is spectacular, even the home-made ketchup. Service is great, they even bring a table-duster out to clean up your breadcrumbs. Tip - Portions are big and you can split most of the entrees. The salad is big enough for 2.

  5. YOUR CAN TRY MAGGIANOS ON 12TH & FILBERT IT HAS GREAT ITALIAN FOOD OR FOR SOMTHING A LITTLE DIFFERENT HIBACHI ON PIER 19 ON DELAWARE AVE. THEY HAVE SEATS WITH THE RIVER VIEW WHICH IS VERY ROMANTIC ESPECIALLY AT NIGHT WHEN ERYTHING IS LITE UP !!

  6. How about a really charming French restaurant in South Philly where the food is delicious, the service is friendly and good and the prices are very reasonable (most entrees are between $10-$15; dinner should cost about $20-$25 each). Then try Coquette Bistro, 700 S. 5th Street in Queen Village, just a couple of blocks from South St. (phone# 215-238-9000) Only one thing: don't go on weekends, it's very popular, and it can get crowded.

  7. The Rose Tattoo ~ very romantic inside.  Pretty cascading plants overhead... strands of white lights surrounding the ceiling ~ great food!
