I was thinking "OMG She's 50!"

what do you think?

I just don't want to offend the over 50 people that will get this...or will they know its a joke>?

  1. A surprise is Nifty

    when ......turns 50

or if it is not a surprise party

    Shes so Great

    Shes so Nifty

    (,,,name..) is turning 50

    Or

    Oh Gee

    Now Shes 50 !

  2. This could be a touchy subject, you sound young and probably have no clue that what might be funny to you, holds absolutely no humor for someone thats 50, especially a woman.

The best suggestion I could ever give you in a situation like this is to go to a card store and check out the cards for that age group and steal some of their ideas.

If you don't, you might end up having to duck a left hook from your mother in law and If she connects she'll say, she was just playing.

  3. Wow, you are older than dirt!

  4. As a woman nearing 50....I say go for it!!  I like your idea but Blessed had some good ones too.  Just speaking for myself and some close friends near my age....we don't worry about turning 50....it just a number.  It's much more important how you feel.  Of course my feelings on this could be because most people don't believe me when I tell them how old I am lol.  But really most women today are more self confident and comfortable in their own skin and don't get as uptight with getting older.

  5. I totally disagree with some of the answers here.  Come on - lighten up!  Everyone makes a joke of turning 50 (and of turning 30, 40, etc....it's all in good fun).   I think OMG She's 50 is perfect.

  6. First, does your mom care if you broadcast the fact that she's 50? ... If not, then how about:

    49, again.....or Foxy Fify

OH!  Just noticed it's your mother-in-LAW!  That's treading on eggshells to bring up her age! ... if she really likes you and doesn't care who knows that she's 50,then go for it.  If she doesn't really like you (why don't husbands' moms like the wives?  That's really pretty common:), then I'd drop the whole age thing and just have a nice party for her.....
