Cute ways to dress up my folders?

my parents are kind of insisting on me getting plain, boring regular folders for school, instead of printed ones like from camp rock and stuff like that. I'm into the jonas brothers, theatre, music and movies..what are some good ideas to dress up the boring ones?

Put stickers on them.

Cut on pictures from magazines or print them form the computer and then glue them on.

Just draw/doodle on them during class or in between.

Print your name out in a really cool font and put it on the front and then do swirls and designs around them.

Leave on plain and then get all of your friends to sign them and leave you funny messages and doodles. (just make sure its all appropriate you dont want to get in trouble if a teacher sees it)

Well, you could get stickers. Or bumber stickers and stuff.

But you're friends will probably write on them at school.

collect loads of memorobillia and blut tack it to a piece of paper, then scan this onto the computer and print out a couple of copies. Stick this over the folders and finish it off with 'laminiation film' which helps to keep it all on.

This should hopefully make your folders look better, more like the printed ones, but individual as well.

Does it really matter?

In a month, those folders are normally really used looking.

You could put stickers on them, but that will eventually tear off.

Well, i guess i can help you.

Get a bunch of old magazines (tigerbeat,BOp,popstar) and start cutting all your fave stars and stick them on the front or back of your folder.

Print (from your PC) pictures of music notes..and unique signs (peace,hearts,stars,smileys,or your name)

Draw CD's and stick small music notes coming out from it to show that you are a music lover!

Add words like acting,superstar, and for a more musical-ish folder print/draw a guitar!

Or a microphone (drawn,printed)

cut out letters from magazines to spell out the class the folder is for

or cut up popstar & j-14 magazines (they have tons of JB stuff in them, as you probably already know) and make collages on them. use modge-podge so they dont rip apart as easily.

I had plain notebooks this past school year and I just wrote random stuff on the cover. It was way more interesting than the notebooks that come with designs already on them. I'm creative.
