Cutting Audio Files?

Question

Is there any website or free program that will allow me to cut an audio file short? It's not a movie so I can't do it on like Windows Movie Maker or something. It's a song file, I just want to cut it because I don't like the beginning. Thank you!

I belive Windows movie maker should be able to do that. You can try Audacity. Its free and very good.

If it's an MP3 you can cut it in Windows Movie Maker then the file format will become WMA if you save it.

Audacity is a good program for editing MP3s.
