  1. No, you need to eat healthy. If you do not get enough protein you will have other problems,  not just muscular legs.

  2. I've known a number of women that have the same problem with wanting to be fit but also wanting to avoid becoming muscular.

If your legs are developing more muscle then you're working yourself too hard.  Decrease the intensity of your workouts so that you finish feeling rejuvenated.  Briskly walking works well for most people.  You want to avoid working to the point of your legs "burning."  The repairing that your body does after you push the limits of your muscles is what makes the muscles bigger.

Suggestions for alternative training sessions: swimming, aerobic weight lifting, walking.

I will ditto another answer's response as well: be cool with your body, muscular legs would be a blessing to a lot of people.  But again, buying new pants can suck too.

  3. try wraping them in shirnk wrap, no joke i 've heard it really works !

  4. Your food is fuel for your body.

You get your proteins from lean meats and grains, so that's a bad idea. The only way to lose muscle is to not do any cardio at all, which is also a bad idea...

Now, accepting you and your body as who you are (which is beautiful; don't live up to an image) is a good idea.

    Good luck!

  5. You MUST eat protein. If you don't then you are throwing your running career down the drain. Just train harder and cut out junk calories.
