I signed up on K12.com and enrolled or whatever with my mom/aunt/uncle. We also printed out these papers. Are we supposed to fill them out and send it to them? If so how long will it take for them to accept me if they do? I really wanna get ready for cyber school so that i dont have to go to highschool for a while. I just wanna get cyber schooled. How long will it take for me to join and be one of the kids that get cyber schooled. I am worrying. I really wanna get cyber schooled.

PLEASE HELP, IM BEGGING YOU.

So what im really asking you is.. How long will it take for them to accept me, and for me to just start cyber school?

I mean I really don't wanna wait for a month, i just wanna start.

  1. Well, this is also going to be my first year doing cyber school.  I enrolled in PA's Agora school a few weeks ago and we signed up and had to print out a bunch of papers.  They called me a few days after signing up to schedule classes for me.  And we just faxed the papers into them the other day.

So first find a school you want and call them, you can then sign up over the phone or the internet.

Hope that eases your worries.  I was worried too, but they except everybody.  Just make sure you find a school that's enrollment is still open.

  2. thats so cool i was wandering the same thing

but YES do print them and fill them out

    you also need

    COPY of birth certificate

COPY of proof of residence, utility bill

COPY of Immunization records, it will be easier just to fax it because they will get it the next day

and then you will take a placement test and then your parents call them to make a conference and then it will say if you are accepted or not on the dashboard

im in the process of doing that. i just faxed all of the forms today.

oh and also fax or mail the things you print out like the surveys and home language survey.

    good luck!!!

  3. I can see you are very eager to start.

If your paperwork was filled out and submitted online, you have done your part thus far.  The rest is up to whichever virtual school with whom you have signed up.  Some virtual schools process applications quickly, and others don't.  Some don't have enough teachers to go around.  Sometimes you really need to keep pushing to get them to deal with your enrollment.

In the meantime, you don't just have to sit around waiting.  Go to the library, get some books on subjects that are of interest to you, and start reading.  Write.  Get out in the community and do some volunteer work.  It's all part of your education.  Don't wait for someone else to tell you what to do.  Start your education yourself.

    All the best.
