Question:

Cyberhome DX162D DVD writer for computer will not...

Computer sees it as a DVD writer, but seems to be installing the wrong drivers for it because application programs that burn to DVDs don't recongize any DVD burners being installed on the system. Burner didn't come with any driver files on a disc (recone just uses Windows generic drivers), but Windows keeps installing generic CD burner drivers, not DVD burner drivers. Tried uninstalling drivers and letting Windows reinstall drivers after rebooting systems, but still keeps intalling wrong drivers. Tried updating drivers, letting Windows search the web for newer drivers, but no luck. Even tried going to Cyberhome's website looking for updated drivers, but they're selling the company and don't have any information. Please help! Am trying to save a bunch of pictures on my computer to DVD and can't until I can fix the DVD burner.
