Question:

Cycle Length Changes?

by  |  earlier

I'm 26 and started my cycle at age 8. Well, they have been VERY consistent but over the past 6 months my cycle has varied between 20 and 23 days. I haven't had any problems or anything, and my Dr didn't answer me when I asked her about it. (I'm looking for a new dr for this and other reasons)

Anyone have any idea as to what this may be? or IF I should be concerned?

  1. Unfortunately, the older you get, the less regular your periods will be, this is VERY normal.  Don't stress unless you start having periods that are extremely irregular...then you may want to get checked out.

  2. Yes, your cycle can change.  Stress, exercise, diet,  and illness can affect when you ovulate.
