Anyone got any idea how long it'd take to cycle from Clapham North (near the tub station say) to Clapham Junction. Say If I wanted to do this every morn and eve as part of my commute, would this be doable?

  1. I have done it on the Transport For London journey planner and it says it would take 16 minutes.

  2. about twenty twenty five mins

  3. Yeah its doable. Brave, but doable - I'd never cycle anywhere in London!

The best way to do it would be to follow the roads first and then work out short cuts at a later date. From Clap North, cycle down the High St until you get to the common. Turn right onto the A3 Long Road, and then turn right again when you get to the third set of traffic lights onto Cedar Road (A3216). When you get to the crossroads, turn left onto Lavender Hill and follow this all the way to Clapham Junction.

If you prefer to cycle through the Common more, just carry on the A3 Long Road until you get to Elspeth Road or St John's Rd.

It takes about 15 minutes to do this route on a bus, so I guess you could probably do it in 10 on a bike.

    Hope this helps!
