Cycle lights blinking and dishwasher will not...

Question

when we go to start the dishwasher as usual the lights on the control panel to which ever buttons we push start blinking and won't stop. I checked inside and there are no loose items in the bottom of dishwasher. I have tripped the circuit breaker and the lights went off but came back on and continued to blink.
