Question:

Cycling Class?

I want to start taking the cycling class my gym offers but I have a few worries and questions.

1. I have bad stamina, is cycling really hard? What is it like?

2. Do I need a specific shoe for it, or is a narrow sneaker that will fit in the peddles good enough? (they use SPD..?)

3. What part of your body does it work out?

  1. theres different level of cycling so you would be fine also i doesn't matter your shoe size any show will work and it mainly works out your thighs

  2. Cycling is only as hard as you make it, or if you have an ill-fitting bike. If they're using spuds, you'll need cleats (for clipless pedals...look up Shimano SPD). As far as what it works out, pert'near everything.

Oh...cycling shoes usually have a still sole of more effective pedalling.

  3. Awww....Your Gym class teaches cycling?!?! No fair. Ours doesn't.  I have to ride around with a few friends and find anything interesting in our most bike un-friendly area.
