Cyflymder set to complete hat-trick - Lingfield Park Owners Club Handicap Preview
After two brilliant performances, Cyflymder will come out in search of his hat-trick on Friday, March 30, 2012. The six-year-old will be in action in the Class 5 Lingfield Park Owners Club Handicap, which will start at 16:30 GMT.
Ten quality runners will follow a cash prize worth £2,386. Among the entries are: Cyflymder, Twinkled, Mister Green, Fibs And Flannel, Shared Moment, Snow Trooper, Whitechapel, Cativo Cavallino and Salient.
Without a shadow of doubt, Cyflymder has the highest chances of winning. If he manages to win today’s race, it will definitely be a huge occasion for Mujadil’s son.
He strike his maiden hat-trick back in 2009. It is a good opportunity for the six-year-old to register his second career hat-trick, but he will have to deliver his best in order to accomplish the feat.
Cyflymder’s latest success came at the start of this month. On March 02, David C. Griffiths’ trainee managed to seize top position after a very close contest with Ensnare. Since luck stayed on his side, he succeeded in beating John Butler’s trainee by a
short head distance.
With two recent close victories under his belt, the Steve Young-owned is full of spirits. However, he should aim for an emphatic win this time around, as his previous triumph was a lucky one.
Twinkled was not able to do anything special last time out, but that does not take anything away from him. The four-year-old has been consistent over the last few months. So far in the ongoing year, he has clinched a couple of wins.
The trainee of Michael Bell recorded his last success on February 24, when he won Hollow Lane Handicap by ½ of a length. He might replicate what he did last month, when he outsmarted everyone with his power and stamina.
Although the real contest will be between Cyflymder and Twinkled, Mister Green might sneak in to create an upset.
Cyflymder and Twinkled have been given same odds, but our vote goes to Cyflymder who is in sublime form at the moment. Bettor.com wishes best of luck to all runners.
