Cyril Stacul returns to Catalan Dragons ahead of Super League play-offs: Rugby

Cyril Stacul makes his come back to Catalan Dragons, just ahead of their Super League elimination play-off, which was scheduled for Saturday, September 17, against Hull KR in Perpignan.
Stacul was restricted along the sidelines of the field because of his ankle injury for the past four months. His recovery was just in time as he was named amongst the 19-man squad of Dragons.
His inclusion in the squad ruled out Vincent Duport from the Catalan’s line-up.Thomas Bosc returned after recovering from injury last weekend. However, the injured Ben Farrar remained off-field.
Rovers’ 19-man squad was subjected to minor changes. Liam Colbon on account  hamstring injury has been seen off-field or the past two month, has been named in the proposed players of the Saturday’s line-up.
Rovers have soldiered into the play-offs, bagging four successive victories  at the end of the regular season of Super League, with the last match of their winning streak was against Castleford Tigers.
Scott Wheeldon , who missed out on the clash against Tigers in Craven Park, has returned to be part of the Saturday’s showdown.
Shaun Briscoe and Clint Newton  are checking out of their term with Tigers at the end of this season, and they both appeared for their 100th appearances for the franchise.
While referring to Tigers’ recent winning streak, Biscoe who has also represented Hull FC in more than hundred games  believes that Rovers have an edge over their rival, with their recent win against the Castleford Tigers.
Speaking about their 30-28 win in Perpignan, Briscoe spoke to the official website of Hulll KR and stated, "We know it's going to be tough. We were there a couple of weeks ago and it was very hard but we got the win then and that was a massive win for us.
It starts again this week and we've got to be professional, complete our sets and dig in. I think confidence wise it does lift us. But it's (the) play-offs and it's completely different. We go there full of confidence and knowing we've got the beating of them.
But we've also got to make sure we don't underestimate them. We've got to turn up and perform."
Trent Robinson's 19-man squad for Saturday's encounter included;Greenshields, Blanch, Sa, Stacul, Bosc, Dureau, Ferriol, Henderson, Casty, Menzies, Raguin, Mounis, Baile, Millard, Vaccari, Fakir, Paea, Baitieri and Pelissier.
Justin Morgan’s 19-man squad has for the paly-off  counted in; Briscoe, Welham, Webster, Green, Dobson, Lovegrove, Fisher, Newton, Galea, Murrell, Watts, Wheeldon, Hodgson, Hall, Vella, Latus, Taylor,Cox and Colbon.
Both sides marched into the Saturday night’s clash with very meagre changes to their lines. Hopes of the contatry seemed formidable on either side.
