Cyro Cuff covered by insurance?

Can a Cyro Cuff be covered by insurance? I'm about to

have knee surgery (ACL replacement) and I want to know

if anyone's ever gotten insurance to pay for a Cyro Cuff?

  1. i know in the OR work in, most, if not all knee patients leave with a cryo cuff, i believe its part of the cost of surgery, such as dressing and post op expenses


  2. Some insurance companies will cover them, but I know I had to borrow my grandma's after my knee surgery because they wouldn't pay for one. The hospital I had my knee surgery at told me that most insurance companies don't pay for a cyro cuff, but I'd check with your hospital and your insurance company. Good luck with your surgery!
