The best thing for cystic acne is to see a dermatologist. It's more serious than regular acne, I had to use a combination of medication pills and medication creams. If you can't afford to go to the dermatologist (it's actually mostly covered by most insurance companies) then you should try getting an over the counter 10 percent benzoyl peroxide cream. After the acne is under control then you will be able to start healing the scars, anti-aging skin products have removed a great deal of mine. You shouldn't use the anti-aging products until your acne is cleared up because they contain acids which will only irritate your skin more if it's already broken.

I've been suffering the same problem with you since all my acne are cystic. You really should see a dermatologist about that. They usually inject cortisone on the acne to make it heal faster. It definitely hurts, but, the next day or 2, it'll be healed. Recently, I tried another doctor since the one I had isn't really treating my problem, acne still pop up occasionally. Now, my new doctor prescribed me with Accutane. She said the scarring I have on my face is worse and the acne wouldn't stop, which, would make the scars even worst! So, now, I'm treating the acne problem, once it's cleared up, i'll be having my doctor treat the scarring. She even set her own deadline on when my face should clear up.

1) Cook oatmeal and apply on face for fifteen minutes and wash.

2) Make a warm bath with blanch of nettle and rosemary.

3) Apply equal amount of lemon juice and rose water with a cotton ball and wash it after haif an hour for 15 to 20 days.
