  1. rimfire wise , CZ makes a fine weapon, both light and accurate.  The new Browning is certainly a good looking piece, and while not shooting one myself, I have good reports of it being very accurate.  the action on the T-bolt is somewhat quicker that a standard bolt.   I have shot the original version from some years back.  I also like the new magazine double helix on the Browning.

  2. I've never shot a T-Bolt, but I have shot a CZ 452. Browning's model seems to have a few more bells and whistles for about $200 more. T-Bolt barrel: Free floating • Semi-match chamber • Recessed crown. The 452s don't have them, but I don't know if they make a drastic difference. I'd go with the CZs and save my money for good centerfires, optics, etc.

  3. my pick would be cz. firstly: because you have heard plenty about it, which means problems will find solutions quickly and knowledge is readily avail.

secondly: because Cz manufacture some pretty tight .22s and with minor accurising they make great target rifles. i dont like their magazines, but i shoot with a few people who swear by them.

also browning are manufactured in the US, and like a lot of things that come from the divided states of embarrasment: they're c**p.

The europeans were making guns long before their deportees landed in america. (just so noone calls me on it, browning was founded a decade or 2 before CZarms) but the czechs do a better job of it.

  4. I have a cz .22 and it is a great rifle , accurate and reliable. I am sure the Browning is also very good but haven't used one myself.
