Czech Republic prepared for EuroVolley 2011 - Volleyball news
The EuroVolley 2011 is the latest tournament in European volleybal and the action is all set to start on Saturday, September 10, in the Czech Republic and Austria. The opportunity is knocking at the door of qualified teams, which have already started preparations
for the coming European Championship. In this regard, the host Czech Republic is actively looking to make a name for his squad. The team completed their preparations fot the event by playing friendly matches with Brazil, Italy and Canada. Currently, they feel
confident they can deal with tough competitors in the fast approaching EuroVolley 2011.
The Czech team is headed by Coach, Jan Svoboda, who has a lot of faith in his team-line. He is satisfied with the previous training of his players and overall team performance in the past. Svoboda has a considerable amount of experience and he has been attached
with the Czech Republic team as head coach for the second consecutive year. EuroVolley 2011 is another challenge for the coach who is confident about his game plan and strategy.
Quite recently, he stated his views about the team's preparations and other aspects of EuroVolley 2011. He said that the squad has been focused on volleyball related practice in the last three weeks, which has surely enhanced the team's performance. He further
added, “Players have waited this phase impatiently and it also quite clear we have to try those activities that we had practiced in recent days under the game conditions, too. By such a way only, we'll be able to see clearly, whether our practice centres to
the right direction or possibly what does not improved as good as we supposed to.”
In his view, the preparatory matches with Brazil, Italy and Canada in the previous month were a perfect test for their game skills. Brazil is a renowned volleyball squad and it was an ideal opportunity to play practice matches with them. Players worked on
their techniques and used different strength exercises.
The Czech Republic has been grouped with Russia, Portugal and Estonia in Pool B. They will open the tournament in their native city, Karlovy Vary. The enormous support of local fans will serve as an extra advantage for the home team. Considering all these
factors, the Czech Republic is tipped to do well at the EuroVolley 2011.
