Milan.
This was back in 2009, at the time the Czech international was a part of Juventus and was planning on taking his official retirement.
Pavel Nedved started playing football in 1991 and after spending almost nineteen years in the game he was happily retiring with numerous titles that included the 2003 European Footballer of the Year award.
However, throughout his career, Nedved was unable to get his hands on the UEFA Champions League trophy.
Jose Mourinho assured him that he would be able to add that title to his list before his retirement if he moved to Inter and in fact Internazionale did go on to win the Champions League title that year.
Nedved said that Mourinho constantly used to say, “Come to Inter, I'll make you win the Champions League”.
Nedved says that he has no regrets about not making the move. He said, "He was convinced that he would take the trophy and he was right. But I was and am a Juventino, so I said no. I loved Juventus too much to join Inter”.
"I really wish I'd been able to win the Champions League with Juve, but I couldn't do it with another jersey on my back".
Pavel Nedved has also been part of the Czech national football team since 1994. In 2006 he had stepped onto the football field to represent the country 91 times, scoring eighteen goals for international glory.
