What sort of stuff are these people sniffing?

Who the Frig keeps producing these meanigless phrases : like "World Class" and "Lessons will be learned" and "Draw a line under"

Ed Balls is an un-reconstructed Socialist !

He is an advocate of Social Engineering!

THIS is where kids learn only enough to put an X opposite Labour on the Ballot Paper!

He is also an old mate of that pillock Brown.

Imagine what sort of bloke he must be!

To be MATE of Friggin' Brown?

  1. laughable it will be funded by mickey mouse Donald duck, and friends of friends who don't know they are .gobbidy **** better known as politics.

  2. Perhaps he meant Third World Class?

  3. If he achieves this objective you can burn me at the stake!!

  4. The man is deluded if he thinks anyone with half a brain believes him. I remember a time when people from all over the world clamoured to be educated in England. I tutor children and have recently advised a couple that they were indeed doing the right thing in returning to India for th secondary educaton of their daughter.

Unless you can afford to pay for private education, or are lucky enough to live in one of the few areas which still operate the 11plus selection test, your child is  most definitely doomed to a second rate education.

  5. Keep shouting and keep arguing the case for 'grown up' government by people who have had real jobs in the world outside politics.  So many New Labour apparatchiks have never ventured outside the cosy cloistered world of politics.  Balls and his partner are both from this theoretical world, as are Brown and Milleband.

It is the same closed loop career as many - far too many - 'professionals' in education.  People go from school to university to Teacher Training College (and that is as subversive a socialist institution as you will find) to teach, thence to QCA when they fail as teachers and on into the department for education or its contemporary euphemism, never having got more than chalk and water soluble marker ink on their  hands.

There are some honourable exceptions in both careers, but too few to influence the overall shambles in both.

  6. Being Canadian, I was not aware of any of that.  You seem quite upset about it.

  7. Oh for God sake - just teach 'em to read and write and stop watering down the curriculum to impress no-one.  I see the result of this working a college of FE.  I just wish my A level students could write a sentence for Chris sakes!!  World Class! ?Joke

  8. Mr. Balls has an excellent scheme to work to: it`s called G.C.E. "O" level and "A" level exams as administered by the independent university boards before the government took it into its head to impose the national curriculum in 1987

In those days, we had the best education system in the world.
