D-Back trade and get Adam Dunn !Will they now win the NL West?

I think picking up a big power bat will help them pull away in the west!

Adam Dunn- Good power bat but doesnt always come through in the clutch

Brandon Webb- Great Pitcher. In my opinion the best player on the team right now.

So they have a bat and a Pitcher but I think the Dodgers just have to much momentum this year. Im not a fan of either the Dodgers or the D-Backs and even though you might not want me to say this, I dont think the D-Backs will make the playoffs this year. Next year there is alot better of a chance but we will have to wait and see. Anything is possible.

They would have won without him. The dodgers cant win with manny alone. Since hes been there, they still havent been able to pass the dbacks or barely stay over 500. The dbacks have stayed in first pretty much since last year without a power bat. They rely on pitching and timely offense which is why their SO rate is so high.

Keep in mind, Dunn hits in a homer-friendly park. The Dbacks park is not as generous so I expect his output to drop just a tad. He is a cancer in the field and since it isn't an American League team they are hurting on defense. His home runs sometimes come at a cost of a run or two on defense and as frequently. I think the Dodgers have the edge. Manny is the complete hitting package, Dunn is just a package!

Wow you think that he is the answer. Sure he has pop but is average and strike outs is terrible. Manny was a much better pick up. Dodgers will win the west and it is going to be great.

im a reds fan and all i know is that the reds are going down hill. but to answer your question maybe i watch dunn all the time and sometimes he'll come up in key situations but most of the times he just strikes out i plan him to get 8-10 more homers since he is entering a bigger park.

They'll still lose the west because Dunn is no Ramirez, he will strike out more than he'll hit Home Runs, he is also going from a hitter;s park to a pitcher's park
